My blog has been filled with one depressing topic to another.
It's time for a change!

I went to the library today ;) Woodlands Library.
And omg, it has got to be one of the awesomest library around. I swear.
It's 112345678900987654321 times better than the National Library please.
They have a splendid collection of books and I was quite upset that I didn't get to take all with me home. But it's okay! I'm sure to pay a visit to that library sooooooooon :D

Books make me so very happy.

I usually spend like 2 hours in the library. Why, you ask?
Well, becauseeeeeee
I HAVE TO go through every single shelf. I can't miss out any.
And every time I see a book I've read before, I take a minute or two to reminisce the storyline.
And whenever, the librarian adds in more books, I restart all over again.
After the whole process, I'll end up with like 12 books?
And since we can only borrow 4, I will go through the books one by one.

I hate having to return them back simply because the limit is like 4 books. What a waste!
OH! AND I SUPER DUPER ULTRA MEGA HATE IT WHEN PEOPLE TREAT THE BOOKS LIKE SHIT.

All those torn books, pages in which people will FOLD instead of using a bookmark!
Urghhhhh. Truly gets on my nerves please.
Like hello! Would you like it if I tear your beautiful top and make you walk around in it?
Would you like it if I fold your arms and make you go on with your day like that?
You know how uncomfortable it feels? Well, imagine how the books felt?!

Okay. I know I know that books are not living things.
But I honestly believe that they have feelings too okay.
You know.. like toy story?
hahah okay maybe I'm just such a bookworm huh?

So anyway, since I'm so high right now, lemme ramble on about books I've read before.
Maybe it'll inspire you to head to the library and grab it and read huh? :)

This is such an awesome book.
Its about a 17 year old girl who idolizes this priest.
And she was spending a lot of time with him as he is her mentor.
But then he starts acting weird; all jealous, possessive of her and taking all her time.
He starts stalking her which freaked her out.

Awesome.
Come Clean.
This is a sickass awesome book man! I swear I swear!
It made me cry and sick to the stomach but I couldn't stop reading it.
Its about one girl's struggle to cope after being wrongly admitted to a boot-camp-style rehabilitation centre which is full of corruption.

The Secret Year
It's about a boy whose secret girlfriend has just died. And no one knew they were ever together. And since they are both in different cliques, no one would believe him even if he had spoken up. So this poor boy had to go through his heartbreak and suffer all by himself :( So heartbreaking but so very captivating. Loved it!

I heart you, you haunt me.
Its about this girl who lost her boyfriend because of a dare which she suggested. Then he kinda comes back into her life, 'haunting' her and at first she loves it but then she feels trapped. Like she cannot go on with a ghost boyfriend but she felt guilty for feeling this way since you know, she kinda caused his death and all. But omg this book is truly awesome. I swear.

Teach Me
Its about teacher/student affair. I find it quite gross but at the same time, it intrigues me. Maybe that's why I picked up books such as Easy and This Gorgeous Game huh?

Okay I'm tired now. I was supposed to be doing Shipping Law Project.

I know having a friend who always have a reason to be sad is difficult to tolerate.

You know what's bad about this whole situation? It always bring me to this really dark place in my mind; so dark I feel like I'm suffocating with depression. I'll start thinking about who's been there for me and who hasn't. And I'll start being sad about the fact that my close friends are like the ones who don't even bother and then I'll sink deeper & deeper into that state of mind.

And I hate it. I try everything in my power to stay out of that hole. But sometimes such poisoning thoughts crawl their way through my mind. And it sucks. It all just sucks.

But there are of course those who, no matter the time of day, will sms/tweet me stuff asking me to be strong. And when that do happen, I'll wipe my tears away because I know that there are people who actually care & are there for me. People who hurt because they hate seeing me this way.

As cliche as this might sound, every time I see an sms like that, I feel like someone is pulling at me hard to prevent me from falling into that hole. And I owe it to them and myself to not be dragged into it.

I know I'm not really alone. Though it might feel that way sometimes.

Was talking to Farhana the other day and I kept thinking and thinking.
And what I realized is.. Girls Totally Rule The School.

Future Future.
You are TOTALLY stressing me out.
If I talk about a certain topic like almost everyday, it means that it is constantly on my mind; nagging at me time and time again.

Right now, it's about the huge F-word. My FUTURE.
I'm looking at 3 scenarios.

Number one. Get into SMU/NUS. I would have to chiong for a GPA of 4.0 for the next 3 semesters in order for a chance to get into a University in Singapore. WTF. This is like highly impossible please. I'll be going up against people like Joel whose in the Director's List. That Genius. In other words, I'm screwed.

Second choice - To go UK and continue studying in Law School. In order to do this, i must have A LOT of money. Like 1 million kind which is like ridiculously impossible since

I don't work. Thus, i have no such money and
Even if i do, it'll take me YEARS to earn that much

The last choice is to join SPF. Yes, the Singapore Police Force. Do I even need to say what's wrong with this one? This is like the most reasonable choice. But a policewoman? Seriously?! Omgawd. I don't even know WHERE TO START with my ranting about this. *shaking my head

So, recently, I've been asked to decide on where i want to go after Poly.

Hey, I've got a question.
Have you heard of the saying "Treat others the way you want to be treated."?
It's really popular so i'm sure you've heard it before. Well..
I really do believe in this saying. So I do it. I treat people the same way i want to be treated.
The downside to that is - I (usually) do not get the same kind of treatment.
Which is really sad and hurtful.

And so to prevent myself from such feelings, i tell myself to quit caring.
Quit putting in the effort. Quit giving a shit to people who do not return the favor.
But despite my best efforts, i always give in.
Why do i keep putting myself in situations where i'd get disappointed??
Can someone give me an explanation or rationalize this?

When i'm feeling like this, most of the time i'll tell myself that i'm thinking too much.
Or that i'm being too emotional.
But is that really the case?
Or am i simply justfying their actions or in some cases, inactions by blaming myself?

What do you think?
I'm not pointing fingers at anyone or anything. I'm just sayin'.

7 Make the bed.
8 Laundry's done, dry wet laundry.
9 Wash dishes.
10 Wipe kitchen clean.
11 TV - CM & HIMYM & whatever's on.
12 Bathe.
13 If hungry, eat whatever you can find.
14 If not, start reading whatever book's left.
15 Finish book as Mom reached home.
16 Watch Tv.
17 Read another book.
18 Youtbe-ing through BB.
19 Talk to yourself about whatever's bothering you.
20 Get real sleepy from self-talking & sleep.

Repeat the 20 steps.
So that's what i do everyday; very routined.
I won't even get up on my fat ass to go downstairs.

Here's where i sigh and complain & be all whiny like some chick who's upset that her lipgloss isn't glossy enough. But here's the thing. I won't sigh or complain 'cause i really don't mind. Which is again, very weird.

My life..is pathetic really, in an incredibly satisfying way.

But of course, none of this makes sense to anyone else.

You know what i figure out recently?

That my life is like an open book.
I share stories. You know who i hang out with. You know what's going on.
How i live my life. It's all out there. Plain and simple.
But at the same time, it's not totally open.

You never really know why i'm sad or pissed or happy.
I don't share why i am moody; what is wrong with me.
I share stories of what is right in my life.
All those broken things? only i know.

And its not like there's noone to sit and listen to me.

Chalet was SUPER FUN! (Y)

For me, it was better this time round.
I had things to do; People to talk to all the way.
So yeah. I really did enjoy it.
We walked from like 1am to like 3am. Zomg.

So, Caroline & Verna are like stressing and moody.
And I feel so helpless, useless and powerless.

Caroline was having a bad day and i just wished i could fly to US and sit with her and eat ice-cream with her and try to cheer her up with my lameness. & help her with her exams by testing her. Be with her & talk to her when she's down - face to face. Bring her out shopping so she'll feel much better. OR SOMETHING.

But unfortunately, I'm here in Singapore and she's all the wayyyyyy in US.
& there's absolutely nothing i could do about it ):

Verna, on the other hand, is stressing over her assignment. If only i have some artistic ability to help her with all her crazy assignments. Whenever she comes to me "how-ing", there's nothing i can do but say "you can do it" & "goodluck". Deep down i KNOW she can do it. She always pulls it off in the end but still, i always feel so useless when she's stressing! ):

I could go to her place and give her moral support BUT i know i'll just end up being a distraction to her. LOL. I can't help myself.. She needs to focus!

Holiday's FINALLY here!

Hooooray! I've been rotting at home. Mannnn. It feels great :D
I have to start with my contract and public speaking projects though.

Man, when i'm stressed about something, i really get stressed.

I finally read the recent case of the father who raped his daughter.

Goodness. He should be hanged.
Gahh. Rapes.. *sigh.
It's really horrible. Why do such things happen?
How can a human being have the heart to hurt another?
- Betray & hurt their own flesh and blood?
He didn't even learn his lesson!It just reminded me of "Don't tell Mummy."
Its disgusting how he molested her when she was first 6.
Then repeatedly raped her until she turned 15.
And no one backed her up.
Not her mom, not her relatives, not her friends, not her school teachers.
Everyone blamed her. Said she consented and all those shit.
God, why? :(

I hate it. I hate the man who took away her childhood.
I hate the people who were supposed to support her and did not.
I hate what she had to go through, which was hell.

Just think.
While you are sitting right there, reading this, someone out there might be crying because her father just raped her.
While you are at home, watching TV, a victim may be in the process of being raped by someone she trusted.
While we sit here commenting that its just a story, a victim out there might be praying her nightmare is just a story and not her reality.

Stories like these really makes me think about shit.

This is gonna be a long post. Bear with me kay!

Zomg. It was AWWWWWWWESOME!
I was afraid i would be kinda left out but NOOOOOO, I wasn't.
It was reallyyyyyyy funnnnn.

From OTC to FO, many things have changed.
For starters, i can sense that i absolutely belong to ZADAZ.
At first everyone spoke in Chinese then i was damn sian la.
But now, when someone said something in Chinese, someone out there would translate it to me. Wahh damn LOVE please.

Also, got to know my fellow GLs better.
Like like Stephanie(Bimbo) through Vivian :D
Then SiHui who terribly ruin my DEMURE image along with Dean.
Kenneth and his jokes, can compete with Joke Joe already. haha
Cheryl&Sheryl&Cristal&Crystal&LJ&Drus&Zafyr GLs.
& Just a lot more luh! Like i talked to most of them at least once :)

&& all the seniors are damn appreciated cannnnn! They really taught me a lot.

Being a GL is really more than just plain cheering.

You have to be able to not only cheer, but to make the freshies cheer with you.
(which is a damn hard thing to do,i swearrrrrr)
You have to be able to make them open up to you and also to other freshies.
You have to endure the tiredness or sickness through the 6days.
You must not let the freshies know you are tired and dying to sleep.
Being a GL is really tough. Salute to all GLs.

But it was all worth it. Yknow why?
Because ZADAZ FRESHIES are the AWESOMEST, i swear.
They are so sweet, so loving, so so so so AWESOME.
No wonder we got 3rd for FOW & 1st for FOC!

FO freshies sang to us and made most GLs cry. They even bought us Pei Pa Kao and cards and made brownies! Like wthell! damn love cannnnnn!
When we got 1st, some even cried; making ME cry even more!
Its really touching to see such things and all our hardwork paid off.

All the ups&downs, scoldings, tension, pain, blood sweat & tears were all worth it.
Thank You, my sweet GLs, my lovely FAs & my awesomest Freshies.

4. TADAH. So, we went to watch Alice In Wonderland 3D.

Then went to eat.
Chaos here & there when GW told us that he wasn't going home after that.
Called YJ for help.
She managed to convince him to go home.
So after he left, we met Alton & rushhhhhhhhh to his place.

AND TADAH!
After stressing for 2 days, the result was comforting(:

At midnight, i was staring at my phone and none of my friends wished me :(
sad,crushed,heartbroken&disappointed, i went back to sleep.

Instead, a msg from ISMATH telling me that meeting time changed to 1030am.
She didn't wish me. :((
sad,crushed,heartbroken, i cursed her&took my time to get ready.

On the way to school, i was told that Animbo,Unimbo & Slimbo won't be coming.
sad,crushed,heartbroken&disappointed, i sighed as i sob quietly in the bus.

I called Anna and being the Queen Bitch she is, she told me she was meeting Shafiq, Atikah went Malaysia with her family and Lydia went dating.

sad,crushed,heartbroken&disappointed,i weeped at how unfortunate my life is.

Mary fetched me from Business School Entrance and DIDN'T bother to wish me.
sad,crushed,heartbroken, i cursed her as i walked towards the study room.

I was greeted by the sight of a small durian cake with Farhana smiling at me.
I smiled and told myself "its okay,Haziqah. Its the thought that counts"
My PPF girls sang me the Happy B'day song and when they were nearly done, i happened to turn towards the door where i saw a red camera- LYDIA.
Before i could react, durian cake was SMASHED onto my beautiful face!

Everything else were a blur. The rest of the BIMBOS came in with chocolate cake and i was shocked,suprised,amazed! I was like What The Hell is going on?! They made me a huge sign(: Awwwwwwww.

Had a FUN time cleaning the mess and running,screaming to try to get cake on them, Trying our BREASTEREST to get rid of the durian off my hair (Y)

(btw, Farhana have a secure job in the future. Durian Remover) HAHAHA

(okay, obviously most of the stuff i wrote about crying all these are bullcrap luh. haha And all the basket comments : its the thought that counts all these too! HAHA just living up to the exaggerating title :D)

Unbelievable. Exam period and they still bother to plan this.
